We see that more and more of our customers only burn one type of diesel/gas oil; Low Sulphur Diesel Oil (DOLS), and what wants the system VMS to estimate only this type of diesel/gas oil.

This post will cover how to configure the system to only estimate DOLS consumption both inside and outside ECA.

This configuration is useful when a vessel only burn Low Sulphur Diesel (both inside and outside ECA). - Have one of your super-users activating the bunker type configuration. This is done by setting the "Dataloy Property" called com.dataloy.eca.restrictbunkertypes's value to "true" (without quotes). Consult us if you are sure: Dataloy Service Desk
- Add a bunker type of the Low Sulphur Diesel Oil bunker category. E.g. called DOLS, DMA-2010-0.1
- For vessels burning FO on Main engine outside ECA area add a bunker type of the Fuel Oil category. (e.g. FO/Fuel Oil or RMG-380-2010-3.5)
Configuring the system to only estimate High Sulphur Diesel Oil (DO) is not recommended. |
