Question
Is it possible to track cargoes loaded by charterers when a vessel is on time charter (TC) Out? What if there are multiple types/grades onboard?
Answer
Yes. It is possible to track cargoes loaded by charterers, even when there are multiple types/grades onboard even though the level of detail is limited.
Info |

To track cargoes: - Go to Booking an Operations > Booking an Operations > select vessel and voyage – its details will display.
- Go to the Port Rotation – Cost tab in the lower part of the screen and check the Condition column.
The level of detail for time charter voyages is limited, but can be captured: - Go to Booking an Operations > Booking an Operations > select vessel and voyage – its details will display.
- Right-click applicable port call and add to the Bill of Ladings.
Note: Multiple lines can be added. It is possible to add sub-commodities to each line, but this requires that the sub-commodities first be added to Master Data > General Master Data Administration > Sub Commodity. The grades would then have to be added as sub-commodities.
