Short Description

A task can be defined as a standard operation to be performed to achieve a purpose. A task is also a means of differentiating between various components.

The Task Categorisation section includes the Task Type and TaskClass/Table modules. The TaskClass/Table is where all task classes, (user defined sets of standars operations), are defined. They are linked to a database table and can hold a set of task types. The Task Type module enables users to divide tasks into general task types, keep track of related tasks and the order in which they are to be performed.
