Organizations in Dataloy Service Desk

We have enabled a very helpful feature in our service desk called Organizations. Long story short this is just a way of grouping multiple users together and enabling users within an organization to access each others tickets. 

Users within an Organization can:

  • see their own tickets under My Requests
  • see requests that are shared within the organization under the name of the organization (the name of the organization in the example below is "Dataloy Systems AS")
  • see all requests that the user has access to under All Requests

  • share requests with the organization or keep them private when registering new requests. NB! all new requests are shared by default

  • share existing requests with your organization or other user/users within the organization

  • stop sharing the request with organization or users by clicking Remove under the organization or user name


NB! Users will only receive e-mail notifications from their own requests and not from all requests shared within the organization.
