Subscribing to and receiving alerts on events

Every user of the Voyage Management System can now subscribe to email alerts. These alerts can notify you when a particular event occurs in the system. Currently, there are only three available alerts in the system, but more will be added shortly.

For example, if you subscribe to the "Bunker Delivery Date updated" alert, you will be notified per email every time a bunker delivery date is updated. The email will contain information about the Bunker in question. An example can be seen below:

List of Alerts

When you open the module, a list of available alerts is shown:

Click on a list item to view the detail window for the alert.

Alert Detail

The detail window shows information about an Alert. From this window you can subscribe / unsubscribe to an alert by clicking the toggle button with the Status label.

Accessing Alerts

Alerts is also a module in the Voyage Management System, and you can open the module by pressing Modules → Alerts → Alerts.

Mobile and Web Browsers

The Alerts Module supports use in the web browser, and also on tablets and mobile devices (via their browsers). This lets you easily manage your alert subscriptions from anywhere. Using the module this way requires no additional setup, you are just required to log in to the web app (using your Voyage Management System credentials), and you can start using it.
