High Level Guide for integrating additional systems with the Dataloy VMS
Please read this before you commence an integration project:
The Dataloy Customer has the responsibility to contact Dataloy via the Service Desk to inform Dataloy when they have an integration project agreed with a 3rd party.
In case the 3rd party is not a member of the Dataloy Partner Program (Master or Chief Partner) the 3rd party will use the Customer development (or test) system for developing the integration.
Integrations must not be developed directly in the production system.
The Dataloy Customer will need to create an API user in the development/test system for the integrator.
The Dataloy Customer has the responsibility to inform Dataloy regarding the project plan and timeline.
If the 3rd party is a Master Partner they can also inform Dataloy of the project via the Service Desk.
Dataloy recommends that the 3rd party system orders an initial training session with a Dataloy API expert to ensure that any technical issues are addressed (especially for non-Master Partners).
Dataloy will do a Technical Assessment (VMS version compatibility, authentication, user training needed relating to an upgrade etc.).
If the 3rd party is a Master Partner they will already have an agreement with Dataloy on training. But, additional training/assessment may be needed.
In case the production environment of the Dataloy Customer needs to be upgraded, a planned “Go Live” of the integration must be coordinated well in advance with Dataloy so that Dataloy can plan and coordinate a Dataloy VMS upgrade.
Depending on system integration and Dataloy VMS upgrade, training of Dataloy VMS Customers might be required.
Under no circumstances will Dataloy take any responsibility for deadlines made between the Dataloy Customer and the 3rd party.
Support:
The support & maintenance of the integration is covered by the 3rd party.
Dataloy is providing support & maintenance of the VMS API.
Kind regards, The Dataloy Team
