Vessel Code Keeps Showing up Incorrect?

Question

A vessel's code is incorrect and needs to be changed. How is this corrected?

Answer

If a vessel code shows up incorrect it is because the vessel's company has altered the code or changed method of naming vessel codes.
Note: If the old voyage references are to be updated AFTER changing vessel codes, please contact Dataloy. 

To correct:

  1. Go to Modules > Master Data > Vessel Administration.
  2. Locate and select applicable vessel in the left-hand menu tree.
  3. Its details will display to the right.
  4. Click the Internal Data tab in the lower right-hand panel.
  5. Enter correct vessel code under Vessel Code.
  6. Click Save.
