Separate Laytime Calculations for Cargoes with the same Load/Discharge Ports and Charterer?
Separate Laytime Calculations for Cargoes with the same Load/Discharge Ports and Charterer?
Question
If a vessel has two cargoes, the same load/discharge ports and the same charterer, is it possible to create separate laytime calculations for each (one for each cargo)?
Answer
Yes, the easiest way to do this is to handle each cargo separately, i.e. performing one laytime calculation/cargo.
To perform a separate laytime calculation/cargo:
- Remove (if any i entered) the total laytime quantity (for both cargoes) under Quantity.
- Enter the deductions for each cargo in their respective laytime calculation, i.e. deductions for Cargo 1 in Calculation 1 and the deductions of Cargo 2 in Calculation 2.
- Perform a separate laytime calculation per cargo.
