Question

Can multiple estimates be opened simultaneously for comparison purposes side by side?

Answer

Yes. Multiple estimates in the Voyage Estimate module can be opened, viewed and compared (and edit in each, for example) by using the Tear Off option, located in the Module Browser Tab menu.

To tear off an estimate:

  1. Go to Module > Voyage Estimate.
  2. Open the first voyage to compare.
  3. Go to the tab stating the vessel name, right-click and from the menu select Tear Off.
  4. The calculation will move from the current window to a separate one (opens automatically), leaving the VMS open for the next calculation to be opened. This can be repeated multiple times, enabling several calculations to be displayed simultaneously.
