User Password Lost

Problem

A user cannot log in due to lost password.

Solution

The user needs to have his/her password changed and be given the new to be able to log in. An Administrator/Super-User with Administrator Access Rights will need to generate a new password for the user.

For an Administrator (with Administrator Access rights) to Change a User's Password:

  1. Go to Modules > System > User Administration.
  2. In the navigation tree, click All Users.
  3. Locate and click applicable user's name. User details will display.
  4. In the General tab:
    1. Enter the new password under New Password.
    2. Re-enter the new password under New Password (again).
  5. Click Save.
  6. Give the new password to the user.
