What does the Colour Coding of Voyage Represent in Voyage Estimate?
Question
What does the different colours in the Voyage Estimate module stand for and when do they change?
Answer
The different colours (green to red, blue or magenta) function as a status indicator in Voyage Estimate module.
Colour Coding | |
Green | A new, basic calculation private to the user perfrming the calculation. Cannot be edited by other users, but viewed and copied. |
Red | The Preliminary Calculation - when a voyage has been frozen, made into a fixture (i.e. an actual voyage), a copy of the original calculation is automatically created. I cannot be changed at all, but is usually used to compare with the Adjusted calculation. |
Blue | The Adjusted Calculation - when a voyage made into an actual voyage, the adjusted calculation is the calculation to be continously updated as the voyage is executed. It can/usually is later compared with the Preliminary calculation. Dates: Saturdays are coloured blue (throughout the VMS), for ex. 18.02.10 13:00 |
Magenta | This is a status a voyage receives when it is when it is temporary unfrozen until re-frozen. |
