Port GMT Offset/Timezone Is Wrong

Port GMT Offset/Timezone Is Wrong

Problem

The GMT offset/timezone is incorrect for a port, either in a report or in the system (user infterface).

Solution

The offset/timezone is wrong in a report: The serverside timezone database is outdated. Contact the local IT Department to update the server's timezone database. Note: If there are no updates available the local time must be manually modified to match correct GMT time.

The offset/timezone is wrong in the user infterface: The client side timezone data is outdated. Upgrade the Java JRE/Java plugin to the latest version. This will provide the latest timezone definitions from Oracle. Note: If there are no updates available the local time must be manually modified to match correct GMT time and if running the VMS from a terminal/citrix server please consult your IT Department.
