Short Description
A business unit can be defined as an segment of a business representing a specific function that does not necessarily match the legal entity structure, for example department, etc., whereas a company is a legal entity created to conduct business.
The Organisational Setup section includes the Business Units and Companies modules. The Business Units and Companies modules holds information about all business units and companies entered into the VMS. A minimum of one business unit and one company respectively is required before the system can be utilised.
