Tabs

The Laytime Calculations module is divided into five tabs, Port Calls (XXX), Charter Parties (XXX), Port Call Events (XXX), Event Matrix (XXX) and Charter Parties (All Trans/Pretrans and Relets). The first four only differ in their top field, the other three are identical, with date being able to be entered at any time in any of these tabs. The Charter Parties (All Trans/Pretrans and Relets), however, only handles the calculations of all transshipments, pretransshipments preshipments and relets.

  • Event Matrix - The Event Matrix gives an overview of all events for all parcels, both Port Call and Cargo Port events.
  • Trans/Pretrans/relets fung som øvriga och can perfom laytime calc's lænkar til single & multiple, depending on type of CP & cargo/cargoes. Just handled in their own tab. Otherwise fing the same as othere CP& cargo combination. Handled separately. This section contains all CP for transshipments and relets.

    3. Port Call Events (XXX): Displays in the top field all port call events identical for all cargoes in a port: ex. Arrival, Berthed, etc. - to be entered by an Operator (and relevant data belonging to the events). 
    4. Event Matrix (XXX): Displays in the top filed the entered laytime calculation in a matirix. 
    5. Charter Parties (All Trans/Pretrans and Relets): This tab holds all charter parties for transshipments, preshipments and relets and has the same function as the other tabs "all in one" for these type of voyages. Laytime calculations can be performed for both single and multiple charter parties and cargoes. This would depend on the type of charter party.

    Open Voyage... opens the Select a Voyage dialogue box which contains all previously entered voyage calculations. The dialogue box displays when opened by default only a user's own calculations, but can be filtered to display all previous calculations. Using the filter option, a search can be narrowed down, for each search parameter added, the more detailed the search. The Select a Voyage dialogue box can also be used to copy and to delete a voyage.



    1. To filter for a voyage:
      1. Click Open Voyage... The Select a Voyage dialogue box will open.
      2. In the filter row above the listed voyages, enter a search parameter in appropriate column row.


         
      3. Press Enter to filter. The dialogue box will update and list voyages according to search.

        Example: To list all voyages with Singapore as a load port, enter the parameter "Singapore" above Load and press Enter.

    2. To copy (or duplicate) a voyage:
      1. Click Open Voyage... The Select a Voyage dialogue box will open.
      2. Filter (if applicable) to locate the voyage to be copied.

      3. Select the row of the voyage to be copied - it will highlight.
      4. Click Copy. The dialogue box will close and a copy of the selected voyage calculation display.

    3. To delete a voyage:
      1. Click Open Voyage... The Select a Voyage dialogue box will open.
