Question

When freezing a voyage into a new year the voyage number restarts with 1, i.e. if the last voyage in the previous year was voyage number 11, the first voyage in the followinig is listed voyage number 1. Why? Can this be changed?

Answer

Voyage numbering of frozen voyages defaults to restart from 1 each year, but can be customised to continue across the year into the next. For example, instead of the first frozen voyage of a year be numbered 1, the next 2, etc., Dataloy can be configured to continue extisting numbering from the previous year (if the last voyage was 11 the first voyage in the new year is 12, etc.).

To get the default configuration changed either contact Dataloy or manually enter sought voyage number for the new voyage. The following voyages will then automatically continue from the new setting.
