Short Description

Air Emissions can be defined as gases discharged into the air from internal combustion engines and from industrial and chemical processes, for example ozone, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, etc. On some emissions a vessel produces there are charges, (or emission fees).

The Emission Configuration section includes the Emission Fees and Emission Fee Types modules. The Emission Fees module is where all emission fees relevant to a user are defined and linked to an emission type. The Emission Fee Types module holds information about the five emission types currently supported (and maintained) by Dataloy. The emission modules are divided in order to facilitate registration of new emission fees without having to enter all emission information twice.

The information of both modules can be used in the Air Emissions module, (represented by the Air Emissions and Air Emission Fees tabs in the Vessel Administration module).
