Scrubber and bunker estimation in Dataloy VMS

Accurate bunker consumption and bunker cost estimation is key to take the correct decisions, and it also impacts the operational follow up of the actual ROB figures, prices etc. 

For vessels with exhaust gas scrubbers installed it is possible to configure the system to estimate High Sulphur Fuel Oil inside the ECA areas.   

The system can be configured to estimate the bunker types that you utilise, and the most common deviations from the default configuration are:

• Low Sulphur Diesel Oil as only type of diesel. 
• High Sulphur Fuel Oil (For vessels with Scrubbers) 
• (Ultra) Low Sulphur Fuel Oil in ECA areas 

For vessels with Scrubber installed tick the Scrubber checkbox on the Main Data tab in Vessel Administration to have the system estimate High Sulphur Fuel Oil also inside the ECA areas.
