The User Administration module allows secure, efficient management of user accounts, including individual profile information, password authentication and access rights and authorisations.
The module consists of three sections:
- All Users - The All Users (or User Accounts) lists all entered users and their details of Dataloy VMS and is where users are entered and removedandremoved. Displays by default upon when opening the module.
- Groups - Groups are collections of users separated by function (includes business units).
- Roles - Roles are positions/groups with a specific function), for example, administrator, operator, charterer, etc.

To facilitate efficient usage of the User Administration module it is recommended that the user defined groups and roles (with permissions) be entered in the Groups and Roles sections respectively before the module is taken into use. |
