Question

How can vessels that are no longer in use, (for example, re-delivered, sold, discarded, exited the fleet, etc.), and voyages that are completed be archived so they no longer show in th vessel/voyages lists in the Booking and operations module?

Answer

All vessels will by default show in the Vessel List and all voyages in the Voyage List of their respective vessel until actively archived.

To archive a vessel (and thereby its voyages):

  1. Go to Modules > Master Data > Vessel Administration. The Vessel Administration window will open.
  2. Select vessel in the left-hand menu tree. Its fields will display to the right.
  3. Click the Internal Data tab

1.Open
2.Search up the vessel you want to archive by using the filter or tree on the left hand side
3.Click on the vessel and then click on the Internal Data tab
4.Enter a Fleet Exit date, basically the date when you want the vessel to fall into the archive

Enter the date the vessel left the fleet under Fleet Exit Date.
Note: Once a Fleet Exit Date has been recorded the vessel is automatically moved to the Archived section in the Booking and Operations module.
