Highlights of Dataloy Vessel Report System 1.9

New consumption breakdown fields have been added. The customer can decide to enable or not. The new fields will update the position report in Dataloy.

The points Voyage Reference and Reason for Call have been added. The feature can be enabled upon request. By including Voyage Reference and Reason for Call it is easier to locate correct port call to update in Dataloy VMS. This will reduce failing reports.

The option to disable the update of dates in the future is now available. Vessels may still report future dates but only actual dates will be updated in Dataloy VMS. This feature will be enabled upon request. The following dates are considered as future dates:

  • Noon Report: ETA, ETB, ETD

  • Arrival Report: ETB, ETD

  • In Port Report: ETB, ETD

  • Departure Report: ETA Next Port

This logic has been modified in VRS 1.9.1

Straits have previously been excluded in rotations, i.e. not counted as ports. This has now changed. Straits are now included and should be reported as other port calls.

The Next Port in Departure Report can be reported as "To Be Announced" if unknown at the point of departure.
