Question

Can a vessel and voyage be identified and located in Dataloy VMS only by using the Voyage ID?

Answer

Yes. The Voyage ID can be used to locte and identify the vessel, voyage and port calls the ID is linked to.

To locate/indentify vessel and voyage:

  1. Click Modules > Booking and Operations > Port Call Browser.
  2. In the upper field, right-click on a column header to add a Voyage ID column next to. A menu will open.
  3. Select and drill down to Add Column > Voyage Header > Identity fields -> Voyage Id.
  4. A new Voyage ID column is created.
  5. Click the magnifying glass icon at the top-right corner.
  6. An empty filter row will display above all columns.
  7. Enter applicable voyage ID in the search field above the Volyage ID column to filter and press Enter.
  8. All port calls of to the vessel and voyage linked to the entered voyage ID will display.
