Is it possible to change the order of two voyages, for example if they have been entered incorrectly and need to switch places?
Answer
Yes, this is possible. Dataloy VMS automatically orders voyages by start date. If the voyages display in incorrect order then the start date/s of one or more voyage/s is/are incorrect and need to be rectified. The voyages will then automatically re-order themselves.
To change voyage sequence/s:
- Go to Modules > Booking and Operations > Booking and Operations. The Booking and Operations window will open.
- Click applicable vessel in the By Vessel Tab (left-hand field) - it will highlight - it's details display will display in the right-hand and lower fields.
In the right-hand Voyage List tab all the vessel's voyages are listed - the most recent by default listed at the top.
In the Voyage List field click applicable voyage to change the start date for - it will highlight and its details display.
- Check Lock Start Date for the voyage to be the initial voyage.
In the Start Date column field enter the start date to a date prior to the start date of the voyage with the currenmt ealier start date.
Uncheck Lock Start Date.
Change the voyage numbers.
Note: To change voyage numbers:
If the list is 1,2,3 - change 3 to 99, 2 to 3 and the 99 2. - small workaround needed.
Exam,ple: l you need to do a small workaround; e.g., if you now have 1, 2, 3, change 3 to 99, 2 to 3 and then 99 to 2.
Click Offhire in the toolbar - the Offhire pop-up will open.
Add applicable offhire record to the voyage.
Click Close. The pop-up will close and an offhire record is added to the voyage.
