User Guides

User Guides for implementing an integration with Dataloy VMS using Dataloy API are provided in this chapter, each explaining processes and providing information of how to use them.

Quick Guide:

Accounting Integration API

The objective of accounting integration is to automate the creation and flow of transactions between the Dataloy VMS and an accounting system. The advantage is, for example, a reduced risk of errors as several transactions handled by Dataloy VMS generates transactions to be entered in a client accounting system. An integration also allows for synchronizing the basic data entities (or Master Data, several of the same being stored and maintained in both systems) between systems. More Info

Appointment API

The objective of appointment integration is to automate the creation and flow of port call appointments between the Dataloy VMS and an agency system. When the appointment has been created and handled in the agency system, a Disbursement Account (DA) is transferred back to the Dataloy VMS. More Info

Bill of Lading Integration API (DEPRECATED)

The objective of the bill of lading integration is to automate the creation and flow of transactions between the Dataloy VMS and a cargo documentation system. The advantage is, for example, reduced risk of errors as several transactions handled by the Dataloy VMS system generates transactions to be entered in a client cargo documentation system. More Info

Bunker Order

The Bunker order section is used to define and integrate bunker orders. However, before this can be done, a minimum of one business partner must be synchronized between Dataloy VMS and bunker order software. More Info

Disbursement Account Integration API

The objective of The Disbursement Account (DA) Integration is to transfer port call and port cost data between Dataloy VMS and an agency system in order to correctly assign port costs to the correct port call, vessel and voyage and import this data into the VMS. More Info

Dataloy Vessel Report System (Dataloy VRS) enables vessels to send vessel reports without proper internet connection. The server side of Dataloy VRS is exposed in the Dataloy API for inserting vessel reports into Dataloy VMS. /wiki/spaces/VMSINT/pages/923414876
