Why does a Vessel not Show in Booking and Operations?

Question

A vessel entered into the VMS does not show in the Booking and Operations module. Why?

Answer

The vessel does not show because either

  • no actual voyage (or frozen voyage) has been made for the vessel or
  • the vessel may be archived.

Vessels without actual voyages attached to them do not appear in the Booking and Operations module. Once a voyage has been frozen in the Voyage Estimate module, it will automatically appear in the Booking and Operations module. To check if a frozen voyage is archived: Go to Booking and Operations > Actual Archive. Note: Vessels are archived based on the fleet exit date in Vessel Administration module.
