Pools

Short Description

A pool (or shipping pool) can be defined as a number of similar vessel types under various owners grouped together for administrative purposes. All revenue is distributed according to each individual pool vessel’s pool earning point (the quality a vessel is agreed to have compared the average pool vessel).

The Pools section includes the Pool and Pool Earning Point modules. The Pool module holds all pools relevant to a user. Once entered, a vessel can at any time be linked to a pool through the Internal Data module. The Pool Earning Point module holds information about the earning points of pool vessels are entered and linked to the appropriate pool and vessel.
