Question

How can a copy of "Recap" be inserted when generating a fixture under Time Charter Contracts?

Answer

If a User is not able to insert a copy of the Recap when generating the fixture in the Time Charter Contracts module then the term "Recap" has not been entered in Master Data. Before Recap can be added to the VMS this term must be created. Once this has been done, Recap can be added to the time charter (TC) contract.

Create the Recap term in Dataloy VMS:

  1. Go to Modules > Master Data > General Master Data Administration > Term Type.
  2. Create applicable term type by following the step-by-step instructions.
  3. Go to Modules > Master Data > General Master Data Administration > Terms.
  4. Create applicable term by following the step-by-step instructions.
    Note    : As a Term Type use the newly created one above.
  5. Once the Term Type and Term has been created it can be added to a time charter (TC) contract.

Add Recap to a TC Contract:

  1. Go to Modules > Contract Management > Time Charter Contracts.
  2. Locate the TC Contract to add the Recap to.
  3. Click the General tab and follow the step-by-step instructions Steps 19-20.
  4. Changes to the TC contract will save.
