Is the Dataloy Property com.dataloy.password.complexity (located under Master Data > General Master Data Administration > Dataloy Property > com.dataloy.password.complexity) the only stetting for complexity? If it is enabled, what impact will it have on the system?
Answer
The purpose of the Dataloy Property com.dataloy.password.complexity is to enable the setting of complexity, i.e. to check if a password contains a usercode, for example a user's username. If the property is set to Yes or True Dataloy VMS will reject not only any password containing a username, but any password containing the user's username at all. Note: If the property is not found in the Dataloy Property folder it can be manually added .
