Cannot Delete Time Charter (TC) In Contract

Problem

A time charter (TC) in contract cannot be deleted. Instead, the error message "TC has voyage records referring to the record you are trying to delete. Please delete these first and retry".

Solution

The time charter (TC) in contract cannot be deleted becasue it is connected to a voyage. To enable the TC In contract to be deleted either:

  • disconnect the voyage from the TC In contract:
    1. Go to Modules > Voyage Estimate.
    2. Open the applicable voyage.
    3. In the Main Calculation field, remove the TC In Contract from TC In Contract.
    4. The system will automatically update and the contract can be deleted.
  • or delete the voyage that is connected to the contract.
