Various Items Missing from a Various Table

Problem

Various code/s (items) in a various table are no longer visible in Dataloy VMS, but was visible in previous versions of the system.

Solution

In versions since Dataloy 3.13 the reason this might occur as various text items can be bound to a specific table and will ONLY appear in the selector of that specific table when adding cost/revenue, however they can be added to others manually. If unbound, the various will appear in all selectors.

To change/add the list of tables in which a various is visible:

  1. Go to Modules > Master Data > General Master Data Administration > Various Text.
  2. Locate and click the missing various item in the upper right-hand field.
  3. Its details will display in the lower left-hand field.
  4. Open the Table tab.
  5. Click Add.
  6. A pop-up will open.
  7. Select the table the various item is to be visible in (it will highlight) and click OK.
  8. The pop-up will close and a row will appear in the Table tab listing the chosen table.
  9. Click Save.
